Summer fun
When summer arrives, we are in our element in Elburg. The old harbour is filled with pleasure boats and sloops, the terraces are full and everyone is having a great time on and around the water.
A holiday in Elburg is always a good idea. There is so much to do for young and old that you should definitely come back. Elburg has a large number of holiday parks in the area, such as Recreatieoord Veluwe Strandbad within walking distance of the Elburg fortress. Ideal for a family holiday or weekend away.
The summer markets are the highlights in the summer. For six weeks during the summer holidays, there is a market in Elburg every Wednesday with a different theme each time. This could be a book and vinyl market, a country life market, a rug market, a beachcomber market, a curio and antique market or something completely different. We do our best to keep the offer varied and interesting.
