Lente in Elburg

Spring Fever
The days are slowly getting longer and winter is giving way to spring. A wonderful time full of new possibilities and ideas is beginning. It's not for nothing that this is many people's favorite season.

In Elburg, the original cobblestone sidewalks have been scrubbed, the streets are filled with flower boxes, and in the harbor, the boats are ready to sail, waiting for new visitors seeking a unique experience on the water. Restaurants are presenting their new spring menus, and the UITagenda (program) is once again filled with special concerts, festivals, and markets for young and old.

Stroll past the stalls during the Ascension and Whitsun markets. Perhaps you can take off your jacket and enjoy one of the many terraces in the sun. This year on May 29th and June 9th.

Elburg will also celebrate 80 years of liberation on April 19th with a liberation procession through the municipality with authentic vehicles, music by the town band, along with the carillon of the Grote Kerk, and an exhibition about veterans' stories at the Elburg Museum.
