Autumn colours
When summer turns into autumn, Elburg is actually at its most beautiful. The soft light and the beautiful autumn colours give the fortress with its many monuments a picturesque appearance.
With the Veluwe as its backyard, Elburg offers a unique combination of culture and nature. Perfect for visiting museums, cycling and walking and seeking out the cosiness of special shops and fine restaurants.
During the Botterweekend, Elburg is all about botters, monuments, fish and crafts. Come and watch the fleet review in the old harbour, take a botter trip yourself, eat a delicious fish and stroll around the market. No one needs to be bored during the Botterweekend.
Discover the Northwest Veluwe during the Veluwe Cycling Days in September. This collaboration between the tourist offices of Elburg, Ermelo, Harderwijk, Nunspeet and Putten guarantees three days of cycling fun. Varied routes through the forests, along the Veluwemeer and through the Hanseatic cities. This year from 18 to 20 September.
