Klankenklooster at Museum Elburg
More information
Museum Elburg will start again with a series of concerts under the name Klankenklooster in the beautiful chapel of the former Agnietenklooster.
On Friday evening, October 18, the first concert was given by Rik Elings, owner of Cultuurschip Thor in Zwolle. Rik also musically inaugurated the new addition to Museum Elburg, the Collard & Collard grand piano. This beautiful instrument, on loan from the Geelvinck Institute, was built in 1889 and completely overhauled by the specialized piano technician Hans Kramer.
November 15 is the turn of the trio Fling. Fling is a band that captivates audiences with beautiful and intimate performances of Irish traditional music. They transcend the beaten path with their idiosyncratic approach to both traditionals and their own compositions.

After a successful period of eight years, in which they toured Dutch theaters with four different music programs, Fling now announces a new chapter. They introduce an intimate program tailor-made for smaller stages, and at the same time a dazzling program suitable for festivals and larger stages. With their versatility and passion, they promise both intimate and large-scale experiences that enchant the audience and take them on a musical journey.
