Traditionally, a botter will bring the bock beer ashore on Saturday around 12 noon and the first barrel will be loaded at the port at 12.15 pm. Afterwards, the new autumn goats will be delivered by carriage under the watchful eye of the Halberdiers and the festive sounds of the city chapel. The tour will pass sixteen different restaurants and cafés in Elburg Vesting and the town crier will promote the new bock beer at every opportunity, after which you can taste it. A matching snack is often served. The ice cream parlor even has bokbier ice cream!

Although bock beer is often associated with autumn, previous years have shown that it also tastes excellent in nice weather. The society therefore hopes for sun and pleasant temperatures as in many previous editions. The cozy terraces in the city and at the harbor are full and bring a lot of atmosphere to the Hanseatic city of Elburg. The snacks and tasting glasses of bock beer, which are often offered by the catering industry, contribute largely to this.
The tour through the Hanseatic city of Elburg will end at the Vischmarkt around 5:00 PM.
